Securities & Broking

3C’s securities and broking activities trade under the name 3C Securities and were launched when 3C became a member of the London Stock Exchange. This business primarily comprises corporate broking, research and the placing and distribution of securities.

Corporate Broking

Over the past year, following a number of important hires, 3C has grown this business to comprise an increasing number of corporate broking clients. We are accelerating the growth of our corporate broking client base by offering a committed and enhanced service including regular high quality research (see below) superior to the ‘plain vanilla’ service we see offered by many market participants. Over the next 1 to 2 years, we plan to become an important player in this market.

Research

The quality of 3C’s equity research gives our firm an important competitive advantage in the sectors of the market in which we operate. We believe our research team, comprising highly ranked and experienced analysts, to be one of the most qualified in the City. Having hired our first analyst in mid 2002, we now cover all the major industry sectors including TMT, property, pharmaceuticals, financial services, retail and consumer goods, renewable energy, oil & gas and mining. As opposed to waterfront research, reports are prepared for specific transactions, targeted on a sector and country basis, as well as for client coverage for broking clients.
